Since I live in Spain, I need to use VPN to watch Japanese Netflix. However, the other day, Netflix took measures to VPN and I can't watch it from this time. I'm paying for Netflix, but why can't I watch Japanese version of Netflix?

I'm sorry to hear Netflix did that. I, too, am annoyed with the landlocking structure of their licensing methods but movie and television publishing houses have done this ever since videotapes were released for home use. I guess they have to make deals with each country or each country's publishing houses or something.

I put the s after Vpn because just Vpn would imply a singular thing while VPNs would imply they took action against multiple VPNs.

Netflix probably took action against any and all VPNs so that's why there's an "s" after VPN.
