I have this habit of overthinking while writing. It's very similar to what happened to me during school times. When I had tests, I used to choose the correct alternative, but after completing the test, I checked every question over to make sure I would get right. At least 4 of 10 alternatives were changed by me, resulting in some wrong answers that were previously correct if i hadn't overthink too much.
Every time I write in English, my brain refuses to keep the flow of writing because I feel that some parts of the sentence I've just wrote are probably wrong and I had to fix them in order to keep going. I know this is a bad habit, but it's hard to get rid of it. Maybe I can ditch this habit if I be more instantaneous while writing the sentence, and going through it only after finishing the whole text.
Unfortunately, anxiety seems to affect differents aspects of my life, like language learning. I don't know if everyone has this habit when they're learning a new language. The only benefit that I found from overthinking is the possibility of choosing more accurate words and also use new words and idioms I'm trying to diligently aggregate to my active vocab.

“Aggregate” não é usado corretamente aqui pq significa coletar ou reunir de modo a formar um todo, e geralmente é aplicado a coleções ou grupos em vez de adicionar itens a um conjunto específico. No lugar dela, cê pode usar “incorporar” ou “adicionar”.

Fantastic! Writing will feel more natural when you have a lot of input (especially reading) because then you will have a large natural database of language to pull from. Cê consegue!
