Write an official e-mail to an investor asking for financial support for your new invention. Describe the invention and explain how it can help people.
Dear sir/ madam,
I am writing to you because I am looking for an investor to financially back my newest invention. I believe my invention will be very beneficial to a lot of people.
My idea for an invention is for a wheelchair that is able to be lowered and raised. Aging adults, the disabled and people who are unable to walk need things in reachable distance. The device will be equipped with three buttons on the right or left armrest depending on whether the person is left-handed or right-handed. Pressing the upper button will set the vehicle for driving in the direction chosen by the passenger. The middle button will safely lower it to the left or right side as needed. The upper button, on the other hand, will raise the user up to three levels selected by them. The device will be available with a remote control so that grandchildren or other family members can serve their loved one.
I suggest that a wheelchair with lifting and lowering function will help save disabled and elderly people plenty of time. They will be able to reach things on high shelves and things that are normally out of reach. Disabled people will be able to lock doors, open windows and check thermostats which a lot of people in wheelchairs currently cannot do since they are in a sitting position. I think also lowering the chair would help a lot. It would help greatly since when a disabled person drops something on the floor, they are not usually able to pick it back up.
I hope that I have piqued your interest. Should you have any queries or doubts, please do not hesitate to enquire about my invention.
I look forward to your response.
Yours sincerely,
XYZ
Dear sSir/ mMadam,
I believe my inventionit will be very beneficial to a lot of people.
My idea for an invention is for a wheelchair that is able to be lowerraised and raislowered.
I don’t know why, but in English (maybe just the USA) we always say “raised and lowered” and not the other way around.
Aging adults, the disabled and people who are unable to walk need things within reachable distance.. The device will be equipped with three buttons on the right or left armrest depending on whether the person is lefright-handed or righleft-handed.
Not sure why, but right is always first.
The upper button, on the other hand, will raise the user up to three different levels selected by them.
“Different” here because it is otherwise confusing if you mean it goes up three levels or it can go to three separate heights.
Yours sSincerely,
