Obon（お盆）
In Japan, next week is Obon (a week around the Aug.13th every year),when ｍany companies set holidays during the time.
It is said that the spirits of ancestors return during Obon. Many people go back to their home town to visit their graves,
and see their parents, relatives or old friends . Various festivals are also held around the time.
Of course, some people go out for traveling, some people, like me, just stay home watching TV as usual.
Last evening (the 8th) there was a big earthquake off the coast of Miyazaki Prefecture in Kyushu.
It is said this could be a sign of a massive earthquake in the Nankai Trough.
I’m not so interested in Olympic games.

日本では、来週はお盆だ（毎年13日前後の1週間）。お盆休みにする会社が多い。
お盆には祖先の霊が戻ると言われている。多くの人が故郷に帰ってお墓参りをしたり、
親や親戚、それに旧友に会ったりする。期間中、様々な祭りも行われる。
もちろん、旅行に行く人もいるし、私のようにいつもどおり自宅でテレビを見て過ごす人もいる。
昨日（８日）の夕刻、九州の宮崎県沖で大きな地震があった。
南海トラフ巨大地震の前ぶれだ、とする報道も流れている。
オリンピックにはあまり興味が湧かない。

"Many people go back to their home town to visit their graves" is grammatically correct, but it's unclear who "their" is referring to. It could mean either "many people's graves" or "their ancestors' graves." To make it more clear, I added "ancestors'" before "graves."

Of course, some people go out for traveling, but some people, like me, just stay home watching TV as usual.
