Retelling, the best way of learning English

Last night, I ended up watching a video about Moses.
Of course, it's a video in English without subtitles.
Moses was an Israelite who was born in Egypt and grew up in Pharaoh's palace.
The Israelites were slaves in Egypt for generations and led a miserable life.
He led the Israelites out of Egypt and to the Promised Land of Canaan.
However, Moses was not able to enter Canaan until his death.
As the leader of the Israelites, Moses fully relied on the power of God.
According to the Bible, Moses was 120 years old when he died.
I tried to retell the story of Moses in English.
I was not fluent at first, but the more I repeated it, the more fluent I became.
I picked out another video today, and I'll retell the story in English.
