Yesterday, I have reached 3,650,000 steps this year. It was over 10,000 steps a day on average. It is fewer steps than last year, but this year I try not to walk too much.

昨日、今年の歩数が365万歩になりました。1日平均1万歩を超えました。これは昨年より少ないですが、今年は歩きすぎないようにしています。

Corrections

It waslked an average of over 10,000 steps a day on average.

It is walked fewer steps than last year, but this year I tryecause I tried to not to walk too/as much this year.

Or "I walked less than last year".
I think it would have been good to also include exactly how many steps you walked the year before to make a clearer and better comparison.
