My first tryime trying to writtinge something with ein English! My first time trying to write something in English!

When you are doing something for the first time, say "it is my first time" and then add the 'ing' form of the verb afterwards. In this case, it's 'trying'. 'Trying' is a unique case, though, because then you usually need to add another verb after to show what you're trying to do, but it'll be in its plain form, so 'ing' won't be at the end.

You could say you have a 'scholarly interest' in something, but it would be more natural to just say "I want to study psychology' or 'I like to study psychology'.
