I have some dreams a night.
It literally means not just one dream, but several dreams a night.
Sometimes I have bad dreams a night, and I find I get tired when I wake up.
My bad dreams are usually things related to my bad memories, things I’m worried, or terrible things that would never happen to my family.
Here is an interesting research result in 2004.
If you sleep on your left side, you tend to have a nightmare.
There were 63 people who took part in that research.
41 people slept on their right side, and 15% of them had a nightmare.
22 people slept on their left side, and 41% of them had a nightmare.
They say one of the reasons why you have a nightmare when you sleep on your left side is that the weight is on your heart.
Though this research is not enough, every time I sleep on my left side when I have a bad dream!
Which sleeping position you take?
And do you have a good dream?

I have some dreams a night.
What you wrote kinda works but if you want to say that you have more than one dream per night, it makes more sense to say what you have written below. If you wanted to be brief, maybe you could say "I have multiple dreams a(t) night". This sentence sounds off to me but I know what you're trying to say.

There were 63 people that took part in thate research.
I personally would say "63 people took part in this/the research" or "There were 63 people that took part in this study". The only real error is that there is no "that" after "people", but saying "that research" doesn't sound right in this instance. No big deal though :)

I understand what you are saying, but to me it makes more sense if you omit the "when" in your statement. It still works though but it's not as concise. :)
Which sleeping position do you take?
It still works if you want to be informal but in proper English you would include "do" :)
And do you have a good dreams?
