I once thought I was not so stupid, I could learn English well in a relatively short time. After learning it for more than one year, I have to admit that my very beginning thought was totally wrong. To learn a foreign language well, you have to master a lot of skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. And each skill would take at least one year in my opinion. Learning languages needs to be very patient and you can’t be in a hurry, or it will backfire. Although I still want to master English as soon as possible, I have to be very patient with it.
