Happy New Year, everyone!
I want to tell you some of my New Year's resolutions for 2025.
Practicing my English listening and speaking is still one of them. My goal is to express myself confidently and fluently, with fewer mistakes. I tried to spend half an hour here and 15 minutes on Duolingo every day last year. Furthermore, I also participated in group chat lessons in Cambly for an hour every week.
All of these three will be continued in 2025, but I plan to focus on two directions when I post entries here because I found that some recurring topics made me feel bored and maybe you correctors feel the same way too. Thus, I'm going to write about something useful for correctors, especially the ones learning Chinese. This is one direction. The other one is continuously telling you about my hiking stories with my spoken English - I'm a little worried about this because I fear I might take up too much of your time or bore you. I'll try my best to make it not too boring.
My second resolution is about exercise. In 2024 my exercise goal was to conquer hypothyroidism. Then in 2025, I want to get my weight back to pre-COVID. Weight gain is a common symptom of an underactive thyroid. In the latter half of 2024, I managed to control my weight, but I still did not return to my pre-COVID state. I will try to run three times a week.
The third resolution I want to tell you is about reading. I usually used an app to listen to sound books. It was quite convenient, friendly to my eyes, and very quick, but I found that I got less from the books. I will try to make notes after finishing a book on the app. At the pace I'm going, I can take 24 reading notes in 2025.
......
It's quite late now. That's all for today.
Have a great 2025!
New Year's Resolutions for 2025
Happy New Year, everyone!
I want to tell you some of my New Year's resolutions for 2025.
All of these threeings I listed will be continued in 2025, but I plan to focus on two directions when I post entries here because I found that some recurring topics made me feel bored and maybe you correctors feel the same way too.
This sentence is grammatically correct but I suggest changing it slightly for redundancy. "You correctors" is somewhat informal as well.
This is one direction.
I'm not entirely sure if direction is the word you want to be using.
ThenSo now in 2025, I want to get my weight back to pre-COVID.
Just a small tip.
The third resolution I want to tell you is about is reading.
Switch the order of about and is.
I usually used an app to listen to soundaudio books.
I would use audio books instead.

This piece was very good and read like a native speaker. There were very few problems that were all very minor. Excellent work.

My second resolution is about exercise.

Then in 2025, I want to get my weight back to pmy weight before- COVID.
pre-COVID is correct but it doesn't sound natural with my correction.

I will try to run three times a week.

Best of luck in completing your resolutions.
Happy New Year, everyone!
I want to tell you some of my New Year's resolutions for 2025.
PLike last year, I want to practicinge my English listening and speaking is still one of them.
I think your previous sentence was fine as it was grammatically but using “still” implies some sort of continuity so I reworded slightly to make it seem more natural.
My goal is to express myself confidently and fluently, with fewer mistakes.

AI’ll of these three will be continuedcontinue to do these things in 2025, but I plan to focus on two directionaspects when I post entries here because I found that some recurring topics made me feel bored and maybe you correctors feel the same way too.
You could also say “two things” but I wanted to avoid repetition.
Thus, I'm going to write about something useful for correctors, especially the ones learning Chinese.
This is one directiof the things I’m going to focus on.
The other one is continuously telling you about my hiking stories with my spoken English - I'm a little worried about this because I fear’m scared I might take up too much of your time or bore you.
“I fear” sounds a little too formal but it’s fine grammatically.
I'll try my best not to make it not too boring.

I want to tell you some of my New Year's resolutions for 2025.
Practicing my English listening and speaking is still one of them.
My goal is to express myself confidently and fluently, with fewer mistakes.
the preposition "with" does not need a comma here.
I tried to spend half an hour here, and 15spend fifteen minutes on Duolingo every day last year.
split the sentence with a comma before "and" to separate the clauses in the sentence. For consistency, it is better to write "half an hour" and "fifteen minutes" OR "30 minutes" and "15 minutes".
Furthermore, I also participated in group chat lessons in Cambly for an hour every week.

The other one is continuously telling you about my hiking stories with my spoken English -. I'm a little worried about this because I fear I might take up too much of your time or bore you.
The en dash(-) is not needed to connect entire sentences
I'll try my best to make it not too boring.
