I am introducing a new format for dealing with words of the day. I doubt that you like etymologies of words, so let’s make it more practical, at least for now: I’ll give you a context for each of the five candidates for the Word of the Day, if at least half of the Your English Grail’s subscribers vote in the corresponding poll by the end of the corresponding week. To give you an idea, I post an example for today’s candidates.
