Natural disasters wait for no man
This morning(Apr.3,2024),big earthquake happened in Taiwan.
I was so anxious about my friends in Taiwan that I contacted them with LINE.
I was happy to know that they are safe without any serious damages.
When we enjoyed New Years days, big earthquake struck us in our Hokuriku region.
When we enjoyed sakura here, another big one struck Taiwan.
Indeed natural disasters won’t wait for no man(should I write no man and woman?).

今朝（2024年4月3日）、大きな地震が台湾で起きた。
私は台湾の友だちが心配になりLINEで連絡をした。
彼らがケガもなく無事だと知って安心した。
私たちが正月の迎えた時に地震が北陸地方を襲った。

Damages tend to refer to material items - ie damages to their house, furniture, etc. If you are talking about their person, then you can say "harm" or "injury"

No man is fine. In formal english "man" is often used instead of "person" or "(hu)mankind", not just "males".

"Man" is not discriminatory, as it's not refering specifically to male persons in this case. It's an archaic way of using this phrase, however.
I understand why it is seen as discriminatory, but in my opinion this is a misunderstanding of the archaic usage of man(kind).

"Time and Tide wait for no man" is an idiom, using an archaic phrase.
In modern writing man is not used in the neutral way, and you would opt for something like "person" instead, or "...waits for nobody".
