My Whiplash
I went to see my doctor because I thought my whiplash had flared up again. I hear that many people are getting sick due to the drastic temperature changes.
In my case, it appears that my liver and large intestine aren't functioning well. The weakened condition of my large intestine seems to be causing an imbalance in my immune cells, which is leading to swollen lymph nodes and possibly causing the pain in my neck. I'm not entirely sure how it all works, but at least I'm relieved that it's not whiplash.
首のむち打ち症再発かと思い医者に行った。今は寒暖差が激しくて、体調を崩す人が多いらしい。ぼくは肝臓や大腸の働きが弱っているようだ。大腸が弱くなっているせいで免疫細胞が乱れ、そしてリンパが腫れ、首の痛みの原因になっているようだ。しくみは今一つ分からないが、むち打ちでなくて安心した。

書くときには、同じ文の中で 「I 」という単語を2回使わないようにするのがよい。しかし、話すときは問題ない。書かれた英語は話し言葉とは少し異なります。
