my thoughts about motivation when learning a language

I think motivation as a wind when you're rowing a boat.
It's good when you have it but you cannot rely entirely on that.
And i heard a story that marathoners don't think about the finish line when they're running.

not relying on a motivation actually helped me when learning English.
now it became habitual, like a life routine.
you don't wash or eat because you have a motivation, it's just how you live.

When i used to rely on a motivation while learning English, i often stopped my progress.
And I'll try to make it habitual so that i can work further on without motivations when i start learning an another language

a bit casual writing but I'm working on punctuation and article (a/an/the), nit-picky correction is appreciated
