My Story - My Best Friends

My best friend is one of the guys who joined the company at the same time as me. I've worked with him for a long time, and we both have absolute trust in each other. He's very good at getting to know how the other person feels, so he's well-liked by everyone.
Now he has transferred to another company, but he is still my best friend.

I hope you get to stay in touch with your friend.

He's very good at getting to knowfiguring out how the other person feels, so he's well-liked by everyone.

When you're talking about people, "getting to know" is usually for "getting to know [a person]", i.e. the whole experience: talking to them, learning what they like, finding out who they are. This meaning is pretty strong.

So it's weird to see it as "getting to know [how someone feels]", not [a person]. I don't know whether you mean "He is good at getting to know people" or "he is good at figuring out how the other person feels".
