Every time I look back, I am filled with regrets.
After I started working in a city, I slacked off for roughly twenty years because I thought I no longer needed to do farm work and already had a decent job.
I had a weak body since birth, but I didn’t take it seriously. I used to drink and smoke from time to time and didn’t exercise regularly.
I didn’t set a lifelong goal or try my best to achieve it.
I excelled academically in school and was always the top student in my class and even in my grade, but I didn’t choose to study at the top high school in my city. Instead, I chose to study at a technical secondary school.
In 2004, after realizing I had wasted nearly twenty years, I decided to work extremely hard to make up for those wasted years.
I eventually quit drinking and smoking a few years ago, which I see as the greatest achievement I have made in my life.
As for a lifelong goal, I think it’s too late for me to set one.
Also, I can’t achieve my dream of studying at a university. However, I often wonder which university I might have attended if I had studied at that top high school.
Naturally, I cannot figure it out, but the only thing I am certain of is that I was one of the top eighteen students in the high school entrance exam that year in my county.
Time flies, and everything keeps changing. I know I can’t go back in time, but acknowledging my regrets is still encouraging in some ways.

Aside from quitting smoking and drinking (although I'm sure you're probably being harsh on yourself), you can add learning english to your list! Well done!
