I am a 2 boys’ mom who just delivered a baby 5 months ago. As I am on my maternity leave, life is busy but fulfilling for me. At the thought of going back to work , I feel a little bit anxious.Next semester is a challenge for me, since I am gonna teacher senior high school students instead of junior high school students. I have no idea what the differences are between them. Some said they are no big difference, but others said I have to change my teaching strategies to better adapt to the new students. I taught English in Japan and Taiwan for 40 years. Often the two groups are quite different. However, it depends on the "ranking" of the school. In high-ranked schools (where many students aiming to enter top universities) most students have good study habits. In low-ranking schools (where many students will never enter college) many students do not student much.
