When I went to middle school, I didn't know anyone in my class because I was the only person who went to middle school from the elementary school of my village.
There were around 60 students in my class and they were from different elementary schools in my hometown. Getting to know them took me a long time.
Because the middle school was a little far away from most villages in the town, most students needed to stay in the school except whoever was living in the town.
So the middle school had dormitories and a cafeteria. Students stayed at school from Monday to Saturday. At that time, Chinese people worked six days a week.
Our classrooms were in the west part of the school and were bungalows. The east part of the school had bungalows that were for teachers and their families.
I remember the cafeteria was in the northern corner of the school. Next to the cafeteria, there were a few small rooms that were for the cafeteria workers.
In the northeast part of the school, there were our dormitories. It was a row of bungalows from east to west. All the male students slept there.
South of the school, there was a river that went west-east. Between the school and the river, there was an open area, which was our school field.
We had nine subjects. They were Chinese, math, English, physics, chemistry, biology, politics, history, geography, pe and music.
Two years ago, I went to the school for the first time since I left it. It looked totally different from what it used to look like. All the buildings have changed except the location of the school.
Students stayed at school from Monday tohrough Saturday.
"to" is also correct, but I think "through" is better here
Our classrooms were in the west parthalf/wing/area of the school and were bungalows.
I wouldn't describe a campus as having a west "part"
The east part of the schoolend of campus had bungalows that were for teachers and their families.
They were Chinese, math, English, physics, chemistry, biology, politics, history, geography, peP.E. and music.
Two years ago, I went tovisited the school for the first time since I left it.
I think this is a little more natural
All the buildings have changed except the location of the schoolhouse.
I'm not sure if you mean the schoolhouse proper or just that the buildings occupy the same part of the city.
