My Lunar New Year

I got Covid-19 after my boyfriend.
5 days of isolation is the policy in Taiwan, so I finally went home on Lunar New Year's Eve(January 21, 2023).
My family was afraid of me, I couldn't celebrate with them so I stayed in my bedroom.

My little sister told me a bad news just a moment ago, she had an itchy throat.
She has a date in 3 days, I feel terribly sorry if I transmit her...

- "give someone the (good/bad) news" is a common phrase

- I switched "had" to "has" because your sister presumably still has a sore throat when you wrote this entry. It sounds more natural.

She has a date in 3 days, I would feel terribly sorry if I transmithave infected her...

- I added "would" because it's still uncertain if your sister has been infected.

I am very sorry to hear that. I hope you and your sister both make a speedy recovery.
