My friend who loves Hawaiian dance #3

This is a continuation from my last post.

My friend joined a dance festival the other day, even though she had had a stroke three months ago.

She could barely walk, but just in case, she used a wheelchair on the stage and danced with only her arms.

She looked brilliant in a blue dress, putting her hair up.

I got chocked up when her performance finished.

I learned strong will that never give up from her.

She is very positive. I should mimic her positive mindset.

She could barely walk,
but just in case,so she used a wheelchair on the stage and danced with only her arms.

I'm not sure what "just in case" was trying to express, but the English meaning is like "a backup if something were to happen."

She looked brilliant in
aher blue dress, putting her hair and updo.

I learned
from her to be strong -will thated and never give up from her.

The expression is correct but not used very often in this context. It sounds more natural if you say something like "She showed me how to be strong and never give up."

She is very positive.

I should mimic herlearn to have a positive mindset like her.

You can also combine this sentence with your previous sentence for something like "She has a very positive mindset and I should learn to be more like her."
