My Friend

I have a friend and I like her a lot, but she has a bad habit.
She always speaks about her, everytime and everywhere.
If I ask to someone "What is your passion?" and he says "Actually, I'm learning guitar", she cuts the conversation to say something like "Oh, I always wanted to learn piano, but it was too expensive, but later maybe, and I'm sure I'm very good at that blah blah blah ...."
It's always the same things, for anything, any subjets, regardless others.
When she did that, we just wait in silence.
She has a lot of qualities, but that is really unpleasant and exhausting.
I don't know how I can explain her, without hurt her.

Corrections

She always speaks about herself, every time and everywhere.

If I ask to someone, "What is your passion?" and he says, "Actually, I'm learning guitar"," she cuts in on the conversation to say something like "Oh, I always wanted to learn piano, but it was too expensive, but later maybe, and I'm sure I'm very good at that blah blah blah ...."

It's always the same things, for anything, any subjects, regardless of others.

You could also replace "thing" with "behavior" or even "action."

When she didoes that, we just wait in silence.

customary action in the present tense

She has a lot of positive / great qualities, but that is really unpleasant and exhausting.

Something is needed to balance the negative words if you have "but" as the conjunction. There is no contrast if you just say "qualities."

I don't know how I can explain this to her, without hurting her.

Feedback

Well done!
You described the situation and how it feels very well. My favorite line is when you all wait in silence.

I had a friend who used the phrase "thank you for sharing" after someone said something she didn't want to listen to. She said it with a smile. She was cute and had a sweet personality, so she got away with this light sarcasm without hurting anyone. I'm not sure it changed anyone's behavior, but it allowed her to express how she felt indirectly. And those of us who were standing silently always found it funny.
