My first versioning with Git

As my profession is system developer, today I had the need to install a new version of the software company. Until two weeks ago, every changes in the system was versioned with the SVN tools, however currently the QA department requires us to version with GitLab.

I think the tools SVN and Git have similar features, but Git is friendlier to me, for example GIT allow I can see the differences into any browser while the SVN version had the company didn´t allow.

The unique restriction for GIT is (at least) don´t allow to make merge request from Eclipse, at least I don´t Know how to do.

Therefore, I give a LIKE for the new tool.

Corrections

AsSince my profession is system developer, today I had the need to install a new version of the company's software company.

Other, more common words (at least here in the US): "software developer", "software engineer", "developer", "programmer", etc. You can get very specific if you want, depending on what part of your job you want to emphasize.

I think the tools SVN and Git have similar features, but Git is friendlier to me, f. For example, GITit allow I canme to see the differences into any browser while the SVN version had the company had didn´'t allowlet me do this.

Just a note, viewing diffs in a browser is not a feature of Git itself. It's a feature of GitLab.

ThOne unique restriction for GITGit has is (that least) don´it doesn't allow you to make a merge request from Eclipse, or at least I don´'t Kknow how to do.

Therefore, I give a LIKE forlike the new tool.

A few things.

1. "I give a like" sounds comedic, because it makes me think you are hitting the Like button on a social media post.
2. "Therefore" doesn't really make the most sense here, because in the previous sentence you mentioned a downside of Git. You could say instead "Despite that, I like the new tool."

AsGiven that my profession is system developer, today I had the need to install a new version of the company software company.

you don't need to repeat that it was used by the company. It is inferable from the previous sentences.

The unique restriction for GIT is (that least)it doesn´t allow to makemaking merge requests from Eclipse, or at least I don´t Kknow how to do it.

restriction is okay but you can also say "downside" or "disadvantage"

Therefore, I give a LIKE forNonetheless, I like the new tool.

In your previous sentence, you mentioned a disadvantage and here, you say regardless of the disadvantage, you still like the new tool. A correct and more natural connecting word would be "nonetheless".

I think now would sound better in place of currently, since this something that was just changed. If I were to ask "What does the QA department have you use for versioning?" responding with "Currently the QA department requires us to use GitLab." would be fine.
