What is your first memory?
Mine is learning how to ride a bike. I was 5 years old. I still remember how much I wanted to stop using the bike's training wheels. So did I.
The area where I used to bike was not so smooth, so three training wheels broke. I watched carefully my step father replace them using his tools. At some point, I started to ask him to remove the training wheels and teach me how to ride it without the training wheels. But he would keep procrastinating.
One day after school, I was playing in the yard. So, I decided that I would do it myself. I knew where the tool that he used was, and I learned how to use it by watching him. Then I fetched the tool, removed the training wheels, and tighted the bolts and nuts back in place (all by myself).
I trained riding the bike for the rest of the day. By the time my mom got home I had already learned how ride it. It was the first skill that I taught myself. It was not easy; I still have the knee scars from that day. But something started to change that day.
Fifteen years have passed. I taught myself how to code, cook, do a muscle up, do hand stand, and the list goes on. I'm not that good in any of these skills, but I still proud my progress. That day I learned that anyone can learn anything.
What skill have you been learning? Or do you have any hobby that you like to do everyday?

'Trained' doesn't seem right here because training is generally something that experts or athletes do. Beginners learn or practice.
