My first journal

It's been so long since I've last written in English. I have studied the language since I was a little girl, eleven years ago. Last year I took an English exam and passed with an A, which was awesome. My score was the best in reading, use of English, listening and speaking. However, my writing score was not so good. I have never felt comfortable when writing in English as I often make mistakes. I stopped taking English classes after that exam and I'm afraid of forgetting everything.
I have just decided that I'm going to try and do things in order not to forget what I have learnt so far. If possible, I would like to learn even more!

Corrections

I have studied the language since I was a little girl, which was eleven years ago.

The abrupt change to specific information sounded like it was in parenthesis rather than part of the sentence. Adding the "which was" adds additional clarity while still sounding a part of the sentence.

I stopped taking English classes after that exam, and I'm afraid of forgetting everything.

I have just decided that I'm going to try and do things in order not to forgetto keep what I have learnt so far.

No specific error that I could point out, but the sentence flow was a bit choppy in this sentence. (Unnecessary wording)

Feedback

Everyone has had a hard time with writing at some point. I am in college, and I have to grade someone else's writing sometimes, and they make a lot of mistakes even at the college level. If you want to improve your writing, I highly recommend you read Jordan Peterson's guide to writing. It may be a little hard to read for a non-native English speaker, but you may know enough English to handle difficult material. If you are able to digest it, it will improve your writing significantly.

Thank you so much! I've just read a fragment and I think I'll be able to understand it. I'll definitely read it.

It's been so long since I've last written in English.

I have studied the language since I was a little girl, eleven years ago.

To make this sentence sound better, I would either say:
1) I have studied the language since I was a little girl.
2) I started studying the language (when I was a little girl) eleven years ago.

Last year, I took an English exam and passed with an A, which was awesome.

My score was the best in reading, use of English, listening and speaking.

However, my writing score was not so good.

I have never felt comfortable when writing in English, as I often make mistakes.

I stopped taking English classes after that exam and I'm afraid of forgetting everything.

I have just decided that I'm going to try and do things in order not to forget what I have learnted so far.

I think "have learned" sounds better than "have learnt".

Here's a trick, just in case if you didn't know:
If you, for example, didn't know which spelling of a word or form of a verb to use, you can type the two options into google with quotation marks around the verb or phrase. When I google "have learnt", I see that Google finds this phrase around 29 million times in the internet, as opposed to "have learned", which Google finds around 72 million times. Typically, it's better to take the one with more results :)

If possible, I would like to learn even more!
