The quotation marks aren't really needed.

What iI love about the dogs is their loyalty, and that they are very close to the humans, if wewhen compare itd to the cats.

But, don't get me wrong, some cats can be very close friends too, sometimes too close, even some can lay down in your head while you are sleeping (iI'm talspeaking from my own experience).

Just saying "very close" sounds a bit off here, though not that unnatural.

What i love about the cats is their purring, it just help to relax, especially ion hard days

"after hard days" might also work, since most people relax *after* a hard day ;)
