Anton Chekhov is my current favorite author. I would say he is special in the row of Russian classic writers. Most of his works are short stories, and they are immensely good. The very first story I've read was "Misery". I read it in a school additional book for Russian literature class. It was so extraordionary and yet so simple. Though it was the only story in that book, so I forgot about Chekhov for a long time, until I started to read his stories couple years ago. I dived into them while I was reading. How much passion, power and depth could be in such a short piece of text. I was reading too fast when I began to read, and it was my mistake. You should read his stories more slowly. I haven't read all his stories yet. From those that I've read, my favorites are "Fear", "A Lady With a Dog", "The Rotshield's Violin", "Ionych" and "Misery". I think I should buy a book collection of his stories to read them in the evenings, because it's uncomfortable to read them from screen.

"In the row of" isn't an idiom we have in English. You could also say "he stands out from other ..." .

When talking about literature, "diving into" a book is often more about analysing and interpreting the text. If you instead wanted to say that you found the book to be very engaging, you could say that it was "immersive".
How much passion, power and depth could be in such a short piece of text.!
If you don't have anything like "I was amazed by ..." at the start of this sentence, then it should be more of an exclamation with an excited tone.

If you wanted to use more specific vocabulary, you could say you wanted an "anthology" of his.
The "them" in "to read them in the evenings" sounds unnatural. If you replace the pronoun, you get "I should buy a collection of stories to read the stories", which sounds like you're buying one collection in order to read a different collection, which is strange. It sounds much better if you just say "to read in the evenings".

This was pretty good! I had heard of the author before, but I hadn't read any of his stuff. I'll give it a look!
My Favorite Russian Literature - Part 3
I would say he is special in the rowpantheon of Russian classic writers.
This isn't grammatically incorrect, but it sounds like a direct translation of a phrase that doesn't feel "native" to me.
The very first story I've read was "Misery".
I read it in a schooln additional textbook for Russian literature class.
Not totally sure what this sentence is saying, but I took a guess that it was an extra reading in a textbook
ItThe story was so extraordionary and yet so simple.
"It" could mean the textbook or the story

I was reading too fast when I began to read, and itquickly at first, which was my mistake.
You shouldI think it's best to read his stories more slowly.
This is more of a cultural correction. Grammar is fine, but stylistically I think this comes across as more polite
