I'd say one of the reasons to learn Russian is its famous writers and their creations. Reading the Russian classical literature is one the great things that happened to me. It will be true to say that many of those books has a great influence on my life and helped me to understand myself. Still I have warm feeling towards characters and events of some books. Unfortunately, not as much people love to read the classical Russian and Soviet literature nowadays. It goes from school, where kids are forced to read classical books, but they are not ready for then, and that brings some sort of hatred towards reading in general, and particularly for the classical authors books. It happened to me also, but, with my passion for reading, I managed to overcome this and started reading the classical literature in my early twenties, when I was able to fully understand the beauty of its style and its emotional depth.
Next time I'll write a bit about my favorite authors, one at a time.

"Still" usually means that something continues to be true. However, sometimes it can take on a meaning of "despite that." Putting it after the word "I" instead of before makes sure it takes on the more common meaning of continuing to be true.

My Favorite Russian Literature - Part 1
Reading theclassic Russian classical literature is one of the great things that happenedI have been able to medo.
"Happened" is too passive to describe the verb "reading."
Adjectives that are closer to the noun generally are more "intrinsic" to it. Generally, the adjective describing origin should be closer to the noun, unless you are referring to a specific "classical" period or form of a culture (e.g. "French classical literature"), in which case there is more flexibility.
Additionally, in a literary setting, "classical" suggests antiquity or the medieval period to me, whereas "classic" can be used slightly more loosely. (But this may also depend on who your audience is.)
It willould be true to say that many of those books hasve had a great influence on my life and helped me to understand myself.
SI still I have warm feelings towards the characters and events of some books.
"Still" at the beginning of a sentence has a meaning closer to "nonetheless."

Good job! My father was an admirer of 19th century Russian literature, especially Dostoyevsky, and I've always meant to give it a try but haven't yet got around to it.
Note that "classical literature" normally refers to ancient Greek and Latin works. For the literature of Russia, France, Germany, England, etc. we would say "classic" rather than "classical".
