My Favorite Music - Part 1

When I was a teenager, I started to listen to rock, alternative and some metal. I became Metallica's fan. I would listen to them a lot. Then I go on with bunch of metal bands, especially I liked Swedish melodic death metal. The band called In Flames was my favorite of that music scene. There was also a band called Estatic Fear, that made very sophisticated metal music mixed with classical gothic and folk genres. I continued listening to metal mostly till my late teen years.
After that, I discovered 70's progressive rock music. Of course, to begin with, I listened to Pink Floyd. I fell in love with their music instantly, thus it so beautiful and magnificent, that drag you away from this world. The other one, King Crimson, is my second of that kind of music, became my favorite and put away other music for a pretty long time. I used to listen their albums almost exclusively for two or three years, such a rich musical legacy they have. Their music diverse from aggressive rough songs to melodic ephemeral ones. Still, these two are my favorites and I listen to them now and again.

My Favorite Music - Part 1

When I was a teenager, I started to listen to rock, alternative and some metal.

I became a Metallica's fan.

I would listen to them a lot.

Then I gowent on with a bunch of metal bands,. I especially I liked Swedish melodic death metal.

There was also a band called Estatic Fear, that made very sophisticated metal music mixed with classical gothic and folk genres.

I continued listening mostly to metal mostly till my late teen years.

Moving "mostly" earlier makes it clear that "mostly" modifies "listening" instead of modifying "my late teenage years."

After that, I discovered 70's progressive rock music.

Of course, to begin with, I listened to Pink Floyd.

I fell in love with their music instantly, th because it's so beautiful and magnificent, that it drags you away from this world.

The other one, King Crimson, is my second of that kind of musicMy next discovery, King Crimson, became my favorite and. I put away other music for a pretty long time.

I used to listen their albums almost exclusively for two or three years, s. Such a rich musical legacy they have.

This sentence would usually be written as "They have such a rich musical legacy." Sometimes that order is inverted for poetic effect. Personally, I'd choose the standard order in this case.

Their music is diverse, from aggressive rough songs to melodic ephemeral ones.

Still, tThese two are still my favorites and I listen to them now and again.

If you put "still" at the beginning, it sounds like you are contrasting this statement with something else. For example, if the previous sentence said, "I have moved on to other music," then putting "still" at the beginning would make a natural follow-up.

Good old King Crimson and Pink Floyd! You must really have loved them if you listened only to their music for years. I grew up hearing my older sister play Pink Floyd, while my first boyfriend introduced me to King Crimson. Death metal isn't really my thing but I'll check out Estatic Fear.
