Get away with it can also be used like "the robber got away with it". I get what you mean here but i think you could use a bit different wording like so or something like "get it over and done with", meaning finish it even though you don't want to because e.g. you are tired or lazy but you feel like you should do it anyway.

The thing is:  I received a lot of new corrections for my previous posts today and because I have to correct twice as many posts before I can write a new one, I didn’t event take time to read these new corrections!!!

Think the semi colon : is not necessary here

I was uncommonusually busy.

Think unusually is better here. Uncommon can be for e.g. uncommon experience. I think here unusual is better.
