Movie Review for "Otto".
I had some signs that said to me: "it will be your type of movie".
Of course, Tom Hanks is one of the best actors that I have ever now. Then when I was in my favorite bookstore, I saw the book on which this film was based. I like to compare movies and books, but this is another case. I have such nice fillings that I don't want to mess up them if I will don't like the book.
At first scenes, I couldn't recognize Tom. Typcle he portrayed kind guys. At the end of the movie, I got that it was the same role, but my first impression of him was different.
Otto is a rude, strict, and unfriendly man who always tries to control everything. He mostly hates his neighbors. Several times he attempt to kill himself, but his efforts didn't succeed. The main reason for this behavior was that he lost his wife. She died and he lost the last sense of his life. The universe had different plans for him.
Otto's new neighbors forcefully proved that all his friends need him and that is early to give up. Even Ottos' heart melted with that huge care and love.
It was so nice and movingly to watch how he tried to hold on his smile or desire to be useful. Otto was still an emotionless person, but everybody know that he had a puffy bear inside.
I fall in love with this movie. "Otto" will be the next after "Hachiko" in my "heartbroken" movie scale. My big recommendation to you is to find time for this film. I'm 100% sure you will enjoy it.
