Morning

I am drinking barley tea while I am writing this. I still feel sleepiness a little even after taking a shower and drying my hair, but I have to start to learn collocations from now. I hope you all spend a good day.

Morning

I am drinking barley tea while I am writing this.

I still feel sleepiness a little sleepy even after taking a shower and drying my hair, but. I have to start to learning collocations from now on.

The first part and the second part of the sentence seem completely unconnected.

I hope you all spendhave a good day.

I wanted to try to say from the present time or from a little bit later, but it doesn't mean forever crossing the day. So I don't think '' from now on'' is right here because probably it means it will continue over the day and I am compelled to do that for certain reasons. In that case, ''now'' is better? I don' t know.

Thank you for correcting me.

Yes, "I have to start learning collocations now" is the right way to say it - it implies that you will start and keep going. "From now on" sounds less natural because this phrase implies a habit - something you plan to do on a regular basis for a long time.

Here are some examples:
"From now on, I'm going to check my email every day."
"The professor decided that from now on, he won't accept any work turned in late."
"From now on, vaccinated customers can enter the store without masks."
