Miyama

I rode my motorcycle to Miyama in northern Kyoto. I went through the mountains of Kyoto on the way. There are some traditional Japanese houses called Kayabuki, there. Miyama is surrounded by beautiful nature.

今日はバイクで京都北部の美山に行きました。行きは、京都の山中を通りました。美山には茅葺きという伝統的な家屋があります。美山は自然豊かで美しいです。

Miyama

I rode my motorcycle to Miyama in northern Kyoto.

I went through the mountains of Kyoto on the way.

There are sSome traditional Japanese houses called Kayabuki, are there.

The sentence makes sense, but having "there" twice in the sentence the way you wrote is uncommon.

Miyama is surrounded by beautiful nature.
