I'm not sure what the intended meaning here is. You could say "Speak modern English!" as an imperative that you should speak modern English. You could also say "You speak modern English after all", which implies you should mind your manners because you speak modern English.

Today I learnt some idioms in English.

Learned or learnt both work here. It sounds better to indicate the amount of idioms (you could also say "a few idioms", "lots of idioms", "5 idioms", etc.). If you didn't want to indicate the amount, you could say "Today I studied idioms in English" or "Today I studied English idioms" (the second one sounds better to me).
Also technically these aren't considered idioms, as idioms are usually phrases with a non-literal meaning. I would consider these to be slang moreso than idioms.

I hope I couldan use them to make a strong impression when I'll be, for example, if I am invited to thea royal ball, for example.

Using "when" instead of "if" makes it seems like you know at some point you will be invited to a royal ball. While you can leave for example at the end of the sentence, the meaning is clearer if you put it first so a reader knows that the royal ball is an example.

( Of course, I'll need a nice new shiny dress and a Pprince to accompany me, but that's another story )

Prince only needs to be capitalised if it's used as a proper noun (a name).

If you use "we", it's already in plural so it can sounds strange to then say "we... with my friends"
