The book that I'm reading is the Ascendance of a Bookworm. A girl, Myne, likes books. But she lives in a world without books. She makes books.

Since it's a special book (the one you're actually reading) you can both say "Mi libro" or "El libro que estoy leyendo."

I know in English we say with-out, but the Spanish translation is just "sin."
Ella hacescribe libros.
If you mean that she magically creates books, then it's ok "hace", but if she wrotes them, it sounds way better "escribe."

Eso seria mas textual pero podrias decir: "El libro que estoy leyendo", sonaria mejor
