Memorizing
Today, I went through the chapter on articles in my text book.
There are a tremendous number of expressions that I have to memorize, if you want to be fluent in English.
Sometimes, I feel like giving up improving my English. This is because if I memorize 10 idioms, there are so many cases where I forget 6 out of 10 a few days later.

Overall, good job!
I think you don't need to memorize all the idioms at once. In my opinion, the ones you should memorize are the one you use most often, and those idioms come naturally after you use them a lot.
