I read a book about Yoichiro Nambu. He is a physicist. He was born in Japan, but later he got American citizenship. For many years, he was a professor at the University of Chicago. He won the Nobel Prize at the age of 87, despite his many contributions to modern physics. Probably because he had a friendly personality and often talked to others about his ideas before writing papers.
When he was young, he was a professor at Osaka City University, which is now Osaka Metropolitan University. My younger son goes there, so I would recommend this book, but he already has this book.

The Nobel Committee is very slow. The biologist Barbara McClintock won hers when she was 81 years old despite her groundbreaking discoveries 30 years earlier.
PIt was probably because he had a friendly personality and often talked to others about his ideas before writing papers.
No, the Committee is just super slow, I think.
When he was young, he was a professor at Osaka City University, which is now Osaka Metropolitan University.
My younger son goes there, so I would have recommended this book to him, but he already has ithis book.
