In Japan, we have a dish called macaroni salad.
It's a salad mixed with macaroni, cucumber, carrot and ham.
We usually season it with mayonnaise, salt and peppers.
Sometimes, we also put chopped boiled egg in.
The other day I talked about this salad with a Filipino friend.
She said that in Filipin, they have a similar salad, too.
However, I was so surprised because in Filipin, they put condensed milk in it.
I was curious about it, so I asked her to make it.
Now, I'm planning to throw a potluck party.
She is supposed to bring Filipin macaroni salad.

Like salt, when referring to pepper as a seasoning, we don’t add the plural, even if there are many grains. We say “peppers” when we’re referring to the vegetable.
Sometimes, we also put in a chopped boiled egg in.
Or “chopped boiled eggs” depending on how many you put in.
