For Christians, Easter is a celebration of the triumph of life over death.
On Easter Sunday, churches are filled with flowers representing new life and Easter eggs are given as presents.
Eggs are a popular part of Easter celebrations.
Every Easter, children will rush around their homes and gardens searching for Easter eggs.
This Easter egg can either be a real hard-boiled egg or a fake egg full of chocolates.
For many families, Easter just isn't Easter without the egg hunt.
But where does the custom of the Easter Egg Hunt come from?
Actually, this custom comes from Germany.
Some suggest that its origins date back to the late 16th century when the Protestant reformer Martin Luther organised egg hunts for his congregation.
The men would hide the eggs for the women and children to find.
This was a nod to the story of the resurrection in which the empty tomb of Jesus was discovered by women.
For young kids, Easter also means candy and eggs full of treats from a bunny.
