yesterday
Finally, my orchid is in bloom.
It's not easy because it was delivered to me from Guangdong Province. You know the environment and the temperature are very different from those in Shanghai. And recently, Shanghai has been quite cold. We even had a temperature of four degrees below zero. Fortunately, my orchid is starting to bloom. I'll try to take some pictures for you tomorrow.
My Orchid is in Bloom
Finally, my orchid is in bloom.
It's no wasn’t easy because it was delivered to me from Guangdong Province.
“Easy” seems odd here. Are you saying you had to work hard to get the orchid to bloom? Or the orchid itself had to work hard?
My suggestion:
This is no mean feat, because it came to me from Guangdong.
Are you familiar with the expression “no mean feat”? https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/be-no-mean-feat
You know, the environment and the temperature there are very different from those in Shanghai.
These two sentences would combine well:
This is no mean feat, because it came to me from Guangdong, where the environment and temperature are very different from Shanghai.
And recently, Shanghai has been quite cold.
We even had a temperature of four degrees below zero.
Fortunately, my orchid is starting to bloom.
I'll try to take some pictures for you tomorrow.
