“Limelight”
Last Sunday, I went to see a theater play with music, titled “Limelight”, which is based on the famous movie “Limelight” by Sir Charles Spencer Chaplin. The theater, which has a seating capacity of 600, is located at Hibiya in the center of Tokyo and, it was fully seated that day. The play, which took nearly two hours, was performed by only five actors and three actresses. Other than two main roles, an old comedian and a young ballerina, the six players performed multiple roles respectively. They seemed to be very busy when each scene changed, since they had to change their costumes to perform as a different role. I think this was exact the characteristic of theatrical works and enjoyable to me. The story will be introduced in the next post.
先週の日曜日、チャップリンの名作映画「ライムライト」を題材にした音楽劇「ライムライト」を見に行った。東京の中心日比谷にある600席の劇場は、この日満席だった。2時間近く上演されたこの劇は、わずか8人の俳優（うち女優は3人）で演じられ、主役の年老いたコメディアンと若いバレリーナの2人を除いて、6人の俳優がそれぞれ複数の役を演じていた。場面が変わるたびに衣装を着替えて違う役を演じるので、とても忙しそうだった。思うにこれが演劇作品の特徴で、とても楽しめた。ストーリーについては次回に紹介する。

I rearranged it to simplify the connection between the ideas. It makes the comma placement easier.
