I first learned to read in English and after I started to practice the listening. These two skills are passive and, therefore, easier to improve. Now, after many years only reading and listening to English, I have begun to practice my speaking which is so hard because is an active skills. When I have online class to practice this skill, I can't remember proper words, my mind goes blank or I keep thinking in Portuguese and trying to translate what I want to say into English. It's a mess and I feel so frustrated. I really think that the only way to improve the speaking is moving to a country which speaks the language you're learning. So I would be able to get immersed and live new experiences in English

It sounds better when you say "my listening skills", since you are talking about *your* listening

I split this sentence because before it was a run off. If you have too many ideas in one sentence, cut it into two. I try to only have 2/3 clauses (ideas) in a sentence at the most.
It's a mess and I feel so frustrated.

"By doing so" refers to what you said in the sentence more smoothly than just "so"

The second half was technically right, but using the passive voice instead of using "a country" as a subject sounds more natural to me.
SoThat way, I would be able to get immersed and lihave new experiences in English

Keep it up! I think writing and reading will help with speaking, in their own way. But it also depends on the language, I think.
