My wife and I visited a bookstore to buy new textbooks for myour kids.

Put this in the past tense. I put 'our kids' assuming they are your wifes children too, if they are 'my' kids then that implies your wife is not the mother and sounds a bit odd.

And wWe haved dinner near the bookstore whileand we talked about theour plans for next year plans.

I was taught in school to never start a sentence with 'And'. If you wanted to use the word while you would write 'While eating dinner, we discussed our plans for next year.'

From the review ofLooking back at 2021, we had a lot of good experiences and tried to do tons of things for our kids.

We hope that we are able to have betteimprove our lives next year.

This sentence would be used after writing about something that didn't go well in 2021.
