Lapalissade (from Your English Grail)

I introduce a new post category: a source to read! To be adept at understanding complex texts, you have to practise reading them. From time to time, I will share links to unusual texts with you. I want you at least to skim through them to get an idea about the topic.
The first post of this kind is about a lapalissade, a funny type of wordiness: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lapalissade. Read this both in English and Russian because in the Russian version there are more examples of it. As a bonus, you'll understand the problem with the well-known quote from Lenin:
'Marxist doctrine is omnipotent because it is true.'

I want you to at least to skim through them to get an idea about the topic.

I don't know if "at least to" is wrong, but it sounds clunky to me.

You could also say "to get a rough idea of the topic".
