I've started to speak with strangers in a Discord server called "Language Sloth". It's a place where people are united to exchange their languages to talk with native speakers. The channel is really cool, you can meet a lot of people from around the world which is also great to meet new cultures. One of the features on Sloth is that you can add tags that show the languages you speak in your profile, so if you're uncomfortable to have conversations with native speakers, you can just try to find someone who is trying to learn your desired language, but who also speaks your native language.
You can make online friends from the confort of your house. It really encourages you as another motivation to learn languages. I realized that speaking is way harder than writing, and I'm definitely more fluent when I write rather than when I speak. It's not just because of pronunciation, but also that you don't have a backspace key in your mouth so you can't go back in your speech without stuttering and sounding weird. On the other side, that helps you getting used to the pace of real conversations. I try to keep my sentences simple when I talk, so the mistakes of doing highly complex sentences decreases and the focus on communication increases. No matter what language you're learning, you should give Language Sloth a try. It will be very uncomfortable at the beginning, but you'll get hang of it and the experience is worth it.

Very good, I definitely agree that speaking is harder than writing when you don't have people to practice with. I'm glad you found something that works with you. Good luck!
