Ladies' day for movies
I prefer watching movies at a movie theater to wathing at home. Watching movies on a big display is more immersive and the sound at a movie theater is a lot better, which gives me more realistick feeling.
Most of movie theaters in Tokyo have a discount day on Wednesday for ladies. It's called Ladies' day that women can watch any movies at a cheaper price than usual.
I go to a movie theater every Wednesday after working and enjoy the latest movies checking how much my listening ability for English is improved. I can taste gorgeous moment that enriches my heart.

I like going to the movies too! I've never heard of a Ladies Day at the movies in Canada, but sometimes a theatre will have "cheap days" on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. All tickets are cheaper to encourage people to go on their less busy days.

You're welcome! In Canada, most video rental shops have been closed for a long time. I've never thought about how Netflix would affect movie theatres' business! I guess streaming services would make it hard for them!

Sounds fun! In the United States, we have "Early Bird" movies at most theaters, where the first 2-3 shows of the day are at a discount price. Sometimes Tuesdays or Wednesdays will also have extra discounts. Maybe some theaters also do a Ladies Day here as well, but I don't think I've ever heard of it!
