I like going to the movies too! I've never heard of a Ladies Day at the movies in Canada, but sometimes a theatre will have "cheap days" on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. All tickets are cheaper to encourage people to go on their less busy days.

Thank you for the correction and the nice advice! The purpose is the same as that of Canadian theaters. Many theaters try to get more customers to cope with rental video shops or Netfrix(≧▽≦)

You're welcome! In Canada, most video rental shops have been closed for a long time. I've never thought about how Netflix would affect movie theatres' business! I guess streaming services would make it hard for them!

Oh that's right. It's streaming service, not Netfrix. Netfrix is showing mainly dramas and animations. I mistook it(>_<)

Sounds fun! In the United States, we have "Early Bird" movies at most theaters, where the first 2-3 shows of the day are at a discount price. Sometimes Tuesdays or Wednesdays will also have extra discounts. Maybe some theaters also do a Ladies Day here as well, but I don't think I've ever heard of it!
