Unlike in English, relative pronouns are compulsory in French: "the last thing THAT I bought"

"ê" is pronounced a bit like in "hey!", but <eau> is always /o/ like a "bow", but without the "w"
So when you have <eau> you can't have an accent circonflexe on the <e>
