Kyoto and Florence

Kyoto and Florence have a lot of things in common. Both are well known old cities, surrounded by hills, extremely cold in winter and extremely hot in summer. They are regarded as a center of their cultures, and enormous treasure boxes for visitors who come for sightseeing.

京都とフローレンスには類似点が多い。いずれもよく知られた古い都市である。双方ともに丘に囲まれ、冬はひどく寒く、夏は耐えがたいほど暑い。ともに自国の文化の一中心とみなされ、観光客にとっては尽きせぬ宝庫である。
