I recently discovered that, in a URL like this, the question mark and everything that follows it is optional tracking information, so we can delete it if we want to:

Just a bit of URL trivia…. (^_^)v

Happy International Labour Day!

Happy International Labour Day! Happy International Labour Day!

In China, starting from tonight, we are now in the midst of a 5-day Labor Day holiday.

In China, starting from tonight, we are now in the midst of a 5-day Labour Day holiday. In China, starting from tonight, we are now in the midst of a 5-day Labour Day holiday.

Since you used the British spelling in the title, it’s best to be consistent.

I’ll be staying in Shanghai to prepare for my travel studio, even though I really want to go hiking in the mountains.

I’ll be staying in Shanghai {to prepare | making preparations} for my travel studio, even though I really want to go hiking in the mountains. I’ll be staying in Shanghai {to prepare | making preparations} for my travel studio, even though I really want to go hiking in the mountains.

Somehow, “to prepare for” doesn’t sound right in this context. It might just be me, though.

I put together a video capturing my hiking trip from last weekend.
