What types of TV shows do you like?

I mostly watch the comedy on TV. Many comedians appear in the comedy show in Japan. I believe that laughing is the very important thing in order to live happily every day. On the other hand, I mostly don’t watch the dramas on TV.

Corrections

I mostly watch the comedyies on TV.

I believe that laughing is the very important thing in ordero [be able to] live happily every day.

Alternatively: I believe that laughter is an important thing in order to live happily every day.
Laughing-Verb; Laughter-Noun

On the other hand, I mostly don’t watch the dramas on TV.

Feedback

Good job! I tend to like comedies and humorous stuff. I don't know if it's available in Japan, but one of my favorite shows is "Brooklyn Nine-Nine". "Home Movies" is another one I like, but its animation style can be a turn off for people. The dialogue in it is pretty natural, albeit a little deadpan and snarky especially from the main character. I don't mind dramas because they sometimes have engaging storylines. However, I do tend to avoid series known for being extremely sad and/or depressing.

Thank you very much for your careful corrections.
When I write while pronouncing words out loud, I end up using a lot of "a"s and "the." I think I'm probably not used to English yet.

Overall easily understandable, but with 1 common mistake. When talking about genres ( comedy/ horror/ drama/ etc). We refer to them as plurals. For example

I watch comedies, I dont watch dramas. Hot Fuzz is a good comedy, I like comedies such as Hot Fuzz

sounds better. Unless there is a single comedy show in Japan they appear on, then what you wrote is correct.

I believe that laughing is the very important thing in order to live happily every day.

'on the other hand' is not WRONG here since you're contrasting it against comedy shows you do watch, but it feels out of place.

I agree with @blind3112 that "on the other hand" doesn't fit really well here. I think it would work better if the sentence was related either to comedies of living happily. For example: On the other hand, there are some days, when you just can't laugh, and that's part of life too.

But the feedback I want to give is about "mostly" in that sentence. @winter_night_skies substituted "often" which is better, but the problem is that putting these words right in front of "don't" does not sound natural. It doesn't sound right to say,"I mostly don't" or "I often don't."
I'm not sure why nobody else thinks this. This is what I would say "I don't watch dramas on TV very often." I would have to say that "I don't often watch dramas on TV," is acceptable as well, but I cannot think of a good way to use "mostly" with "don't."

Sorry typo. I think it would work better if the sentence was related either to comedies OR living happily.
(I really wish we could edit feedback!!!!)

"Comedy" is a non-count noun.

Many comedians appear in the comedy shows in Japan.

"The comedy show" would refer to a specific comedy show. "Comedy shows" refers to them in general.

I believe that laughing is thea very important thing in order to live happily every day.

"A" is used because laughing is one of many important things in order to be happy.

You could also say "the most important thing" if you mean that laughing is more important than all the others.

Feedback

This post is very well-constructed. You clearly understand English sentence structure well. I would suggest some more practice with articles ("the" and "a/an"). Here are some good resources I found:

Thank you for providing the URL. I'll take a look and study.

What types of TV shows do you like?

I mostly watch the comedy on TV.

When talking about a genre the article is unnecessary

Many comedians appear ion the comedy show in Japan.

This means there is only one comedy show. If you mean more than one, say “in comedy shows”

I believe that laughing is thea very important thing in order to live happily every day.

Either say “a very important thing” if there are others, or “the most important thing” if it’s the only one.

On the other hand, I mostly don’t watch the dramas on TV.

- Comedy in this sense is treated as a name in English so we don't put 'the' in front. It's the same reason we say 'I mostly watch soccer' and not "I most watch the soccer". With that being said, just like we would say "The soccer I watch is incredible", we would also write 'The comedy I watch is funny". So sometimes you add a the and sometimes you don't but when you do and don't follows the same rules as other words such as 'soccer'. I haven't actually looked up the explicit rule though

- Same comment as above

I believe that laughing is thea very important thing in order to live happily every day.

- I presume you mean laughing is one of many important things to live happily so you need to use the preposition 'a'

On the other hand, I mostly don’t watch the dramas on TV.

- Same as first comment
