According to BBC news, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson was arrested.
Robinson admitted he had been following Charlie Kirk for months, studying his speeches, travel schedules and even clothing habits to know exactly when he would be most vulnerable, but the real twist came when he added that at first he wasn't doing it to attack him, but to get closer and join his team.
He claimed he had applied for jobs multiple times, but never received a response.
He said that the feeling of rejection grew into resentment and ultimately into a deadly plan, the most chilling part of his confession was Robinson's statement that his greatest satisfaction came from being invisible in the crowd.
The murder weapon was later found by police.
It's an older model, high-powered, bolt-action hunting rifle.
It was nothing fancy, with no fancy technology, just the basic gear that the average hunter uses for shooting deer during hunting season.
